Academic qualification
Essential:
Graduate in Engineering or Commerce Qualification in Logistics / Material Management
Experience
3 to 4 years in similar position in Shipping/ Engineering Machinery Dispatch/ Logistics/ Freight Forwarding / Exports/International Trade
Job Purpose:
Oversee logistics and inventory operations ensuring efficient movement of goods accurate stock levels and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage logistics operations (shipping delivery and transportation).
- Supervise inventory control and stock management.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
- Supervise team assign tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Optimize processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Resolve logistics and inventory issues as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in the logistics industry
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using logistics and inventory management software
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field
