Qualifications
- 1–2 years in cargo, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
- Physically fit with good manual handling ability
- Able to work in high‑pressure, outdoor environments
- Secondary School Certificate / High School Preferred
- Trade/Certificate in Industrial Engineering (preferred)
- Manual handling techniques
- Communication in English (basic literacy)
- Familiarity with airport ramp operations and equipment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and load segregation
- Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail at terminals, aircraft, and carts.
- Assist passengers by moving trolleys, oversized luggage, and strollers.
- Deliver courteous service at designated airport zones.
- Adhere to safety protocols and always wear PPE.
- Use handheld terminals (HHT) or other digital devices for scanning and task tracking.
- Segregate, stack, and secure items inside aircraft holds or ULDs as per loading instructions.
- Conduct build‑up and breakdown of pallets, handle lashing, plastic covering, and count items.
- Ensure aircraft nets and locks are properly in place.
- Operate luggage wrapping machines and manage billing/token systems as required.
- Handle airline documentation, stationary, and materials at various checkpoints.
- Attend toolbox talks and safety trainings regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness at work sites and report any hazards.
- Ensure consistent punctuality and zero unauthorized absences.
- Achieve target loading/unloading rates
- Maintain 95%+ scan accuracy
- Zero attributable service failures
- 100% compliance with safety and PPE use
- No customer complaints related to baggage or cargo handling
