Information Systems Specialist (Warehouse Management) Responsibilities
- Understanding Warehouse Management Systems (WMS):
Experience working with various warehouse management systems such as SAP, Oracle, IBM Maximo, or any other system specialized in warehouse management. - IT
Skills:
Good knowledge of database technologies, networks, and operating systems, with the ability to handle daily technical system-related issues. - Warehouse Operations Knowledge:
Understanding of daily warehouse operations such as material receiving, storage, inventory counting, and distribution, in addition to inventory management policies. - Data Analysis and Reporting:
Ability to use system data to analyze performance and generate accurate reports that support process improvement. - Problem Solving:
Ability to identify technical and functional issues faced by users and propose effective solutions.
- Operate and support approved warehouse management systems such as Oracle and IBM Maximo, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory data and material movements.
- Handle daily technical and operational system issues and support users during receiving, issuing, transferring, and inventory counting processes.
- Ensure warehouse operations are carried out in accordance with approved policies and that operational processes are efficiently and accurately linked to the electronic system.
- Extract and analyze inventory data and performance indicators, and prepare periodic reports that support management decision-making and improve warehouse efficiency.
- Propose and implement improvements to warehouse systems and operations, participate in system development, and train users on best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing warehouse management systems.
- Strong knowledge of database management, data analysis, and system integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
