As a Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing warehousing operations and logistics functions to ensure that products are stored and distributed efficiently, effectively, and safely. This position involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, processing orders, managing inventory levels, and liaising with external partners and vendors. You will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes, managing all warehouse activities, and ensuring that goods are delivered on time.
This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. As a pivotal part of the supply chain team, you will contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient delivery and storage systems.
- Coordinate and oversee inbound and outbound shipping operations daily.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels at all times.
- Liaise with external vendors and transport providers for timely deliveries.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics policies and procedures for operations.
- Monitor warehouse staff activities and provide feedback and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and inventory transactions.
- Analyze and optimize warehouse layout and logistics processes to improve efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and logistics performance.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery in the warehouse are functioning correctly.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to forecast and plan logistics needs.
- Resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Proven experience in logistics or warehouse coordination or management roles.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management principles and systems.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and logistics software.
- Effective communication skills to work with various stakeholders and teams.
- Ability to lead teams and manage warehouse operations efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and inventories.
