Warehouse Picker

As a Warehouse Picker, your primary responsibility is to accurately and efficiently pick and pack products for shipment to customers. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in WMS

• Order Picking:
  • Retrieve products from designated locations within the warehouse based on customer orders.
  • Ensure accuracy in selecting the correct items and quantities, matching them with order specifications.
• Packing and Labeling:
  • Pack selected items securely and appropriately for shipping, considering factors such as fragility and size.
  • Affix shipping labels and ensure that all required documentation is included with each shipment.
• Quality Control:
  • Conduct quality checks on products to identify and report any damaged or defective items.
  • Report discrepancies or issues with inventory to the supervisor for resolution.
• Inventory Management:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating the system with picking and packing information.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use appropriate safety equipment and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
• Efficiency and Productivity:
  • Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
• Equipment Operation:
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and order tracking.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a warehouse setting.

This role involves standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
