The Role
As a Tax Accountant, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain hands-on exposure across both corporation tax and personal tax within a pure practice environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns for a varied client base
* Supporting personal tax compliance for individuals and owner-managed businesses
* Assisting with VAT compliance and advisory work
* Supporting P11D and PAYE Settlement Agreement processes
* Liaising with HMRC where required
* Developing your technical knowledge and contributing to high-quality client service
What They’re Looking For
* 2–5 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice (essential)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in both corporation tax and personal tax
* AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA / CTA part-qualified
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Experience using tax and accounting software such as IRIS, CCH, Sage and/or Xero
* A positive, proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing a long-term tax career
