The Role
As a Tax Accountant, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and gain hands-on exposure across both corporation tax and personal tax within a pure practice environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns for a varied client base
Supporting personal tax compliance for individuals and owner-managed businesses
Assisting with VAT compliance and advisory work
Supporting P11D and PAYE Settlement Agreement processes
Liaising with HMRC where required
Developing your technical knowledge and contributing to high-quality client service
What They re Looking For
2 5 years experience within a UK accountancy practice (essential)
Minimum 2 years experience in both corporation tax and personal tax
AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA / CTA part-qualified
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Experience using tax and accounting software such as IRIS, CCH, Sage and/or Xero
A positive, proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing a long-term tax career
You must have at least 2 years UK Practice experience
Candidates from industry-only or in-house tax backgrounds will not be considered.
