Site Surveyor​/Draughtsman

MCR are recruiting for an experienced Site Surveyor / Draughtsman for our client based in Brierley Hill.

• Liaising with customers to organise site survey visits.
• Visiting the customer site to measure up the project for the installation of steel partitioning.
• Working with the customer to understand any specific requirements they might have.
• Identifying potential problems such as uneven floors, pipework and electrical ducting.
• Finalising site visit measurements and notes and drawing the project using CAD software (Archicad).
• Working with the customer to resolve queries and having the drawing finalised and signed off by the customer before manufacture.

• Have experience measuring up internal projects, preferably in the building or steel fabrication industry.
• Have experience working with CAD software (Archicad or equivalent).
• Be able to work with different customers to understand their requirements and deliver a high‑quality service.
• Be interested in learning about the product to have the right conversation with customers.
• Be able to work independently and manage their own diary to plan a range of site surveys each week.
• Be flexible to leave early in the morning if the customer wishes to meet on site at 9 a.m. and finish early on the same day.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

• Salary of £28,000–£38,000 dependent on experience.

• Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
• Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
• Flexibility of hours depending on customer requirements and site location.
