Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer

Are you a Project Engineer or Product Engineer with a background in Development, Design Engineering, Production or Manufacturing Are you confident with data and analytics, creating and managing BOMs, using MRP systems and working with cross functional engineering and commercial teams

Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Product Engineer by a specialist manufacturing business. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working in complex manufacturing environments and helping to control and deliver projects through engineering change and delivery phases. You will be data focused creating accurate BOMs and managing the technical data files to ensure the whole product life cycle is supported.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Create and maintain bills of materials and item data in the business MRP software

Manage, deliver, communicate, report engineering change from receipt of request through to completion

Create technical documentation to support the communication of engineering change

Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including technical bulletins, SOPs/work instructions and product user manuals

Liaise with providers of product regulatory testing and certification services and manage and communicate workflow requirements and progress

Provide engineering and technical support to quality, operations, purchasing materials

Skills/Experience Essential

Experienced in data management within an MRP software system

Bill of material (BOM) creation maintenance within an MRP software system

Competent in use of Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams

Document control

Creation of written technical documentation
