Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Join our team as a Quantity Surveyor at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services. The role is based at Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley and reports to the Head of Projects.

• Lead procurement and tendering of subcontract variations and lifecycle works.
• Lead development of budget estimates for presentation to customers.
• Liaise with client to establish value for money on billable works projects and budgets.
• Assist with management of financial forecasts, supply chain contract management, and procurement approaches.
• Value interim and completed works and arrange payments.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
• Degree-level qualification in quantity surveying.
• Knowledge of contract management principles, including NEC suite of contracts.
• Conversant in risk management processes, mitigation, and reporting.
