Corporate Debt Officer
Limra Networks is seeking a permanent Corporate Debt Officer to work from our Church Street office or homeworking.
Job DescriptionThe main purpose of the post is to collect rent arrears, council tax arrears and sundry debts owed to the council. The role involves carrying out interviews with customers by telephone and in homes, and agreeing sustainable arrangements for payment. The position also includes supervision of Corporate Debt Assistants.
Requirements- Experience of dealing with the public in a similar environment.
- Previous experience in the collection of council debts would be an advantage.
- Complete a Disclosure (Level
1) check prior to a formal offer.
All statutory and procedural requirements apply under the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Successful appointment must be able to disclose any convictions that are not "spent" under the Act. Failure to disclose could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
HoursMonday – Thursday 8:45am – 4:45pm;
Friday 8:45am – 3:55pm.
