Role: Locum Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynaecology (UK‑wide opportunities)
Rates: £100 – £120 per hour
Shifts: Full time, Monday to Friday + on‑call
AboutThe Role
As a locum Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will provide expert clinical care and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality services across NHS trusts.
Core Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care to patients.
- Support antenatal, delivery, and post‑natal services.
- Participate in clinical governance and audit activities.
- Mentor junior staff and support CPD development.
- GMC Specialist registered doctor with full licence to practice.
- Evidence of right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
- GMC CCT (or within 6 months of achieving) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Relevant consultant‑level experience or evidence supporting transition to consultant level.
- Pass enhanced DBS background check.
- Willing to work as PAYE only – not as an Ltd contractor.
- CCT in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (or within 6 months of achieving it).
- Scotland (including Dumfries & Galloway and other NHS trusts across the UK)
- Greater London, Midlands, North West & North East England, South East & South West England, Wales – let us know your preferred region.
- Weekly payroll (usually Friday)
