What’s the Job

Health and Social Care Instructor delivering mandatory and in‑house training courses to professionals within the health and social care industry. The role is part of the Commercial Development and Delivery Team, which provides a variety of professional qualifications and bespoke courses.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver mandatory and bespoke training courses, including Moving and Handling People, Infection Control, Medication Awareness, and Adult Support and Protection.
  • Plan, facilitate and assess training sessions in accordance with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate training records and provide post‑training feedback.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Practical experience working within a care setting – essential.
  • Group Training Certificate or similar – desirable.
  • Experience delivering mandatory or certificated training courses (e.g., Moving and Handling, Infection Control, Medication Awareness).
  • Strong customer service, organisation, team working and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including MS Office and job‑specific systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
