Location:
Dumfries – Regional role supporting services across Scotland
Join a respected provider with a strong foundation of 10 established homes, now expanding further across Scotland. Working alongside the Director of Service and a peer Operations Manager, you’ll play a vital role in leading high-quality, trauma-informed care across multiple homes both existing and new.
About the Role:
• Operational leadership of multiple residential childcare services across Scotland
• Ensure consistent, high-quality care aligned with The Promise and GIRFEC
• Support and mentor Registered Managers, promoting reflective and therapeutic practice
• Drive recruitment, development, and retention across your region
• Lead on safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance
• Help guide the successful launch of new services as part of strategic growth
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Service and fellow Operations Manager

About You:
• SVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare or Leadership and Management
• At least 5 years’ experience in residential childcare, including 3+ years in a senior role
• Strong understanding of Scottish legislation, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care
• Proven leadership across multi-site services
• Committed to high standards, with a reflective, values-led approach
• Excellent communicator with strategic awareness and emotional intelligence
