** We are hiring a Protective Services Guard for our location in Duncan, BC.
**** You will be responsible for:
*** Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.
* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
* Observing, meeting and greeting customers.
* Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
* Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.
* Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
* Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.
* Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
* Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.
** You have:
*** A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
* Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
* Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
* Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
* Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).
* Open availability (considered an asset).

** Compensation Details:**$20.00 - $26.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
