Morgan Hunt are delighted to work with one of our great clients in Dundee who are looking to welcome a new Procurement Manager on a full time and permanent basis.

Joining a successful team, you will ensure all procurement needs are met in accordance with current public sector legislations and be the procurement lead within the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Procurement function, ensuring legal compliance and best value.
• Manage tenders, contracts, supplier performance and the contracts register.
• Lead, develop and support the procurement team.
• Work with external stakeholders to deliver collaborative procurement.
• Develop and maintain the Procurement Strategy, managing legislative change and risk.
• Produce procurement data, reports and insights to support senior decision-making.

Personal Specification

• Public Sector Procurement experience needed (recent or in the past)
• CIPS (any level)
• Motivated and high professional standards
• Excellent communicator across different stakeholders
• Ability to work successfully in a team
• Desirable if you have led and managed a team currently/previously
