What you will do:
  • Deliver high‑quality pharmaceutical care within acute settings, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive medication management for patients.
  • Evaluate and monitor pharmaceutical therapies, adjusting treatment plans where necessary in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide specialist advice on the safe and effective use of medicines across a range of clinical areas.
  • Be involved in the education and supervision of trainee pharmacists and pharmacy students.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and UK legislation related to pharmacy practice.

To be successful in this role, you must be registered with the HCPC and ideally be a car driver, enabling you to move efficiently between different service areas.
