We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Wallace Hospital, Dundee
. This role will be working Monday to Friday 9.00 to 17.00
.
Cygnet Wallace Hospital is an 18‑bed specialist high‑dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men and women with intellectual disability and/or autism. Our fantastic facilities and multi‑disciplinary treatment programme are designed to assist individuals with their return to community living.
As an Assistant Psychologist you will support and enhance the psychological care of patients by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with the following:
- Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
- Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
- Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
- Administration, audit, research and service development
- Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent BPS accredited qualification
- Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
- Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Qualified to Masters degree level or higher in Psychology (preferred)
- Salary: £28,613 per year
