Drug Redesign Project Nurse – NHS Tayside

Registered Nurse, Band 5 – Full‑time fixed term 23 months starting 01 April 2026.

• Provide holistic case management for patients with opiate and alcohol dependence across Dundee city.
• Support transition of patients from specialist services into GP care, ensuring continuity and crisis support.
• Co‑ordinate liaison between Primary Care, DDARS, partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans for complex substance dependence with emotional and psychological needs.
• Contribute to service delivery and strategic objectives, maintaining quality governance and practice.

• Registered Nurse, active UK NMC registration (Sub‑part 1 RN1/ RNA or Sub‑part 2 RN2 UK NMC Register).
• Experience in substance dependence, primary care or multidisciplinary settings preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and crisis management skills.
