• Undertake all aspects of highway maintenance works including but not limited to drainage, kerbing, and other civils schemes.
• Lead a squad and work closely with other gangers.
• Complete associated scheme records to a high quality such as daily site diaries and measurement records.
• Drive/operate vehicles and plant, ensuring vehicle checks, routing maintenance and vehicle cleaning are performed.
• Provide winter maintenance support, including emergency call out and standby.
• Ensure the safety of yourself and the team, prioritising safety at all times.

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (HGV training can be provided for suitable candidates).
• Previous winter experience.
• Prior experience in civils, trade or street works is desirable.
