Butchery Supervisor

Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised and detail oriented supervisor to join our team!

As a Butchery Supervisor, you’ll take the lead in preparing a wide range of meat cuts to meet customer expectations and uphold company standards. Alongside delivering knowledgeable, friendly service with clear advice and recommendations, you’ll ensure the highest levels of hygiene and food safety are consistently maintained. You’ll work closely with colleagues to create an efficient, positive team environment and play an active role in driving sales to meet store targets.

In addition, you’ll support the development of the team’s skills and confidence across all in-store processes, while providing dependable assistance to the Store Manager and Store Supervisor when needed.

• Preparing different cuts of meat in line with customer and company requirements.
• Offer an excellent level of customer engagement through offering advice, recommendations and assistance.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene within the store.
• Support and work effectively with your colleagues.
• Continually work in a sales driven manner to achieve targets.
• Drive the team to develop in-store knowledge, skills and confidence and process.
• Support the store manager and Store Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, enthusiastic team player with a positive approach to daily tasks. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires working hours outside the traditional 9-to-5 pattern.
