We are delighted to offer this Band 5 Treatment Room Nurse role within the CTAC Service, a primary‑care setting providing care to patients in treatment rooms across the West Fife area, with relief/HUB work.
As an autonomous practitioner you will exercise initiative and clinical judgement daily, with flexibility to cover treatment rooms in West Fife (South West Villages, Dunfermline, Lochgelly, Cowdenbeath, Kelty, Benarty) and occasionally other areas outside West Fife. The role may involve working in general practices or at the HUB settings at Primrose Lane Surgery and Queen Margaret Hospital.
You will deliver clinics independently, providing wound management, venepuncture, compression bandages, Doppler assessment, injections, and evolving nursing tasks, whilst ensuring clinical care and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities- Work autonomously to provide patient care in treatment rooms.
- Perform wound management, venepuncture, compression bandages, Doppler assessment and injections.
- Cover treatment rooms in West Fife and occasional out‑of‑area sites.
- Work within general practices and HUB settings.
- Maintain safe, effective, person‑centred practice and meet clinical quality standards.
- Adapt to change, manage time effectively and support a multi‑professional team.
- Adult / General Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Required skills and experience to work within a primary‑care setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi‑professional team.
Salary is pro‑rata to part‑time hours.
