Description: We are hiring for our client, a global leader in materials processing solutions, who are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their established Electrical Team based in Dungannon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer who is passionate about electrical design, innovation, and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in new product development, provide technical expertise across departments, and contribute to a culture that values safety, teamwork, and growth.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer
, you will:

• Design and develop 3 phase electrical control systems and technical documentation

• Create and test PLC and HMI software (Allen Bradley & IFM Systems)

• Write Functional Specifications and ensure accurate project documentation

• Support new product development and continuous improvement projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative electrical solutions

• Occasionally support equipment commissioning and on-site testing

• Ensure compliance with all safety and industry standards

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Strong technical background in 3 phase electrical systems and automation

• Skilled in PLC/HMI programming, VFDs, and control panel design (Zuken E3 / ePlan desirable)

• Experience with industrial networks such as Ether Net IP, CANbus, and Modbus

• Proven project management ability and analytical skills

• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

• Self‑motivated, with some flexibility for occasional travel
