Health and Safety Officer

Health & Safety Officer Dungannon £35,000 to £45,000 DOE + benefits We are working with a successful NI food producer to recruit for their new Health & Safety Office to join them at their greater Dungannon facility, offering up to £45k + benefits. Working Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm you will support health & safety policy & process implementation and facilitation to ensure all legal obligations are met, this will include;
Provide advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees Policy setting and implementation Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety Legislation Conduct H&S inspections and investigations Reporting Conduct Risk Assessments and follow up action planning Auditing internal and assistance during external Delivery on in-house training, booking external training What we are looking for 2 + years of health & safety experience, to include ideally within a food / manufacturing environment NEBOSH qualified Confident communication skills Flexibility with working times to ensure consistency of policy implementation and servicing of audits/investigations etc
