Operations Manager

Operations Manager Mid Ulster £50-60k

INFORM3 are working alongside an established company in Mid Ulster who are recruiting for an Operations Manager who can contribute to the day-to-day running of the business, oversee operational activity and help to create an effective and efficient workplace environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a fast-paced operations management role in the construction sector, and although not essential experience within the residential or social housing sector would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Directors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running to ensure smooth progress
• Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organisational objectives and apply improvements
• Formulate policies and promote their implementation
• Manage relationships and agreements with external partners
• Manage the trades and labour on site

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant experience in a similar operations management role within the construction sector
• Experience with in the Social Housing sector desirable
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and ambiguous problems
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the business
• Ability to act on own initiative and take a creative, innovative approach as well as working as a team
• Exceptional communication skills
