Description:

We are hiring for our client, a well-established electrical contracting business providing services to respectable clients across the Educational, Industrial and Commercial sectors throughout the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead and develop their Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) function. This newly created role offers the opportunity to make a real impact — shaping strategy, driving performance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

• Lead and develop the SHEQ team, providing guidance and support
• Maintain and enhance ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 systems
• Ensure compliance with all SHEQ legislation and standards
• Deliver training, toolbox talks and drive SHEQ awareness
• Investigate incidents, oversee corrective actions and produce reports
• Manage risk assessments, audits and inspections across all sites
• Lead SHEQ onboarding and continuous improvement initiatives

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and degree/diploma in relevant field
• Proven SHEQ experience in electrical, construction, utilities or engineering sectors
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT abilities
• Full UK driving licence essential and able to travel with role to site.
