Operations Team Lead - Maternity Cover

Location:

Dungannon, Northern Ireland

Working Hours:

rotation (Week 1: Mon‑Fri‑Sat‑Sun 05:45‑17:45; Week 2: Wed‑Thu 05:45‑17:45)

Contract:

12 months, full‑time, monthly paid, maternity cover.

• Lead, coach and support your team to achieve production goals.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Drive efficiency, productivity and team engagement.
• Promote a culture of improvement and accountability.
• Responsible for the performance and speeds of lines to maximise line efficiency.
• Monitor, control and report on product quality, including product entering and leaving the area and product labelling.
• Improve work methods for productivity, performance and safety of the operation.
• Work closely with managers to achieve KPIs and attend team meetings, contributing to good communication.
• Ensure food safety, integrity, legality and quality at all times.
• Apply Pilgrim’s Europe Health and Safety Policy, Company Safety Rules and statutory requirements.

• Experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Understanding of targets and KPI reporting.
• Computer literacy.
• Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with focus on performance and development.
• Strong understanding of health and safety and quality systems.
• Good attention to detail and ability to use own initiative.
