The Role
As a key member of our commercial team, you’ll play a vital role in driving our growth. You’ll partner closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to deliver high‑quality support, streamline operations, and help bring new ideas to life. Job Description Main Duties and Responsibilities- Supporting the overall Sales, Product Development & Marketing functions.
- Prospecting regions and inactive customers to create interest and opportunities for Mallaghan products.
- Co‑ordinating with the Sales team when opportunities are identified and supporting handover.
- Assisting with large scope product RFPs & RFQs.
- Assisting with organising customer factory visits (hotels, lunches, airport transfers, etc.).
- Assisting the marketing team in organising shows.
- Assisting with Market Analysis projects & Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
- Building effective working relationships with all other functions at the site and supporting daily operations.
- Assisting with any other administration duties as required by your manager.
- Any other duties required by Leadership to suit business needs.
- Ensuring that all work complies with ISO 9001 quality‑management procedures.
Your profile
- Strong work ethic & ability to produce high‑quality work to a deadline.
- Attention to detail & meticulous approach to processes & documentation.
- Strong passion for engineering and innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate and build effective relationships with customers and internal departments.
- Strong IT and administration skills, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong planning and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to be both pragmatic and diligent with all general duties.
- Self‑motivated with ability to use initiative.
- Experience working in a Sales/Aftersales team environment.
- Experience in a customer‑facing/interacting role.
- Experience with IT platforms such as Salesforce & SharePoint.
- Knowledge of all or a large variety of Mallaghan equipment, from either Engineering, Production or Servicing perspectives.
