.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well‑established, busy small animal practice based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
About UsOur welcoming, friendly colleagues at Dunstable are led by Claire Weller & Dominic Stevens who have worked alongside each other for 20 years! This has led to a nurturing and relaxed workplace that truly emphasizes excellent work‑life balance.
We have a supportive team consisting of 4 qualified RVNs, an SVN, a number of VCAs, and our experienced vet team. We encourage people to pursue their interests, and if you have a particular certificate you wish to obtain, the practice is happy to support you.
The practice is modern and air‑conditioned, purpose‑built to industry‑leading standards with state‑of‑the‑art equipment including digital X‑ray, ultrasound, in‑house blood machines, 3 air‑conditioned consult rooms, and a dedicated theatre. Laparoscopic equipment is also available.
There is plenty of on‑site parking and we are very close to the A5, M1, and ideally located just 15 minutes from Luton Airport and train station. Leagrave train station is also just 10 minutes away with direct train links into central London in under 30 minutes, offering excellent commuting routes for someone who wants the benefits of living in London without the bustle of city life.
AboutYou
We’re looking for a confident vet with solid experience gained in a first‑opinion practice. You should have strong clinical and communication skills and be eager to develop and progress within your career.
Ideally, we’re looking for a full‑time vet to join us, but we also appreciate that you may not be looking for the same; we’d still love to hear from you if you’re interested in the role but are looking for more flexibility.
