We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Durham to work on a variety of Industrial, Logistics, Commercial and Residential projects. • Senior Quantity Surveyor – working on a variety of projects in Durham reporting directly to the Regional Commercial Manager.
• Provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible. The role will be a mix of office and site based work.
• Ensure that projects are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
• Familiarity with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
• Knowledge of current Construction Law.
• Experience in commercial management.
• Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
• Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.

• Ability to work in a team environment contributing across the business unit.
• Good management skills.
• Ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance.
• Good operational planning and time management skills.
