Prison GP - Durham We’re looking for a prison-cleared GP to join the healthcare team at a prison in Durham. This is a great opportunity for a doctor who enjoys working in a challenging but rewarding environment, supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society. The role
* Provide GP-led clinics to residents
* Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of physical and mental health needs
* Work closely with nurses, mental health staff and other clinicians to deliver joined-up care
* Support the management of long-term conditions and urgent presentations
* Contribute to safe prescribing and medicines management What you’ll need
* Full GMC registration and licence to practise
* Previous prison clearance (CTC or equivalent)
* Experience in primary care, urgent care or prison healthcare
* A flexible and resilient approach Contract details
