Job Description:
As an Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving manufacturing performance across a modern production facility. Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you’ll ensure equipment reliability, perform proactive and reactive maintenance, and contribute to process optimisation projects.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Fault-finding, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment and control systems
* Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
* Collaborating with operators and engineering teams to achieve production targets
* Ensuring compliance with all HSE and quality standards
Skills & Experience:
* Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship with ONC/HNC or equivalent
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Hands-on experience with motors, PLCs, and plant control systems
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Desirable:
* Exposure to modern manufacturing techniques
* Experience in a culture transitioning from reactive to proactive maintenance
* Multi-skilled maintenance background
