Residential Developer – Acton
Phase 1 Residential Project

Rate: £300 - £350 PER DAY

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to join a residential developer on a Phase 1 project in Acton. This role will play a critical part in managing fit-out updates arising from structural remediation works to an already completed phase.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design updates across all disciplines where structural changes impact the internal fit-out and apartment layouts, ensuring technical accuracy, programme alignment, and clear communication with consultants and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the coordination of fit-out design updates in response to structural remediation requirements.

* Assess and manage design impacts of structural changes (e.g. introduction of steel columns within party walls and resulting wall depth increases).

* Coordinate updates across all relevant packages, including:

* * Dry lining scope and details

* Apartment types and layouts

* Kitchen and joinery drawings

* Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs)

* Finishes schedules

* MEPH layouts and schematics

* Slab edge and interface details

* Accommodation and area schedules

* Ensure design changes are fully coordinated, buildable, and accurately reflected across all drawing and information sets.

* Manage and chair technical and design coordination meetings.

* Lead and manage consultant teams, with particular responsibility for liaising with and driving the Architect.

* Review, comment on, and manage technical information using A-Site, ensuring robust audit trails and timely responses.

* Produce clear, concise technical reports outlining scope changes, risks, and recommendations.

* Support the wider project team by proactively identifying coordination issues and driving resolutions.

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in a Senior Technical Coordinator or similar role on residential developments.

* Strong understanding of fit-out coordination and the downstream impacts of structural changes.

* Confident managing consultants and leading technical discussions.

* Excellent reporting and written communication skills.

* Competent and confident using A-Site for document review and comment management.

* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple work streams.
