Lead Architectural Technician

An exciting Lead Architectural Technician opportunity has arisen at a well established, industry leading membership organisation where you will be responsible for supporting building / development projects (including a variety of different buildings) at sites across the UK by creating design concepts, technical drawings and plans, all relevant documentation, and as-built drawings, ensuring all regulatory compliance.  

Your role will be a hands-on role working on your own multiple projects, whilst also overseeing and managing the workload of two Architectural Technicians who report into you.

As a Lead Architectural Technician your new role will involve:

Managing the team to assist on various major works / development projects (new build, refurbishment, groundworks) from inception to completion
Producing high quality concept and technical drawings suitable for planning, tendering and construction using AutoCAD and Revit
Supporting the obtaining of Build Regulation approval by preparing technical drawings and information
Producing concept plans
Reviewing construction specifications to ensure continued compliance with Regulations
Updating as-built drawings as required
I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as a Lead Architectural Technician, Senior Architectural Technician, CAD Technician or Architectural Designer working on UK based commercial projects, and who is highly competent using AutoCAD and has knowledge of Revit.  Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and legislation such as Building Standards is important too.

Salary for this position is c. £45,000 to £47,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
