An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Plumber/Water Hygiene Treatment Engineer on a permanent basis.
Are you an experienced Plumber/Water Treatment Engineer looking to take the next step in your career, then we would like to hear from you! We are currently recruiting for a skilled professional to join our team, ensuring high water hygiene and treatment standards across commercial and industrial sites locally and throughout Scotland.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in water sampling, temperature monitoring, Legionella risk assessments, closed system analysis, and system chlorination.
Company van and fuel card provided.
MainDuties & Responsibilities Key Tasks
- Interpret water quality test results and diagnose issues.
- Identify and resolve plumbing and water treatment problems.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to plumbing and water treatment.
- Water Treatment Knowledge and a clear understanding of water treatment principles, water hygiene regulations, and relevant legislation.
- Communication Skills-Effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Health and Safety Awareness demonstrating a strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to plumbing and water treatment.
- Experience in water treatment, Legionella control, and closed system maintenance.
- Attention to detail – Ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Proactive and professional attitude – Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential for site travel.
- A recognised plumbing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
