Automotive Estimator

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our very busy, high-end bodyshop specialising in repairs, refinishing, and vehicle wrapping for premium and luxury cars. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of automotive repair processes and be able to accurately assess damage, determine the necessary work, and prepare precise, professional quotations for clients and insurers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles (including premium and high-value cars) to assess damage and determine repair and/or wrapping requirements
• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for repair, refinishing, and wrapping work, including parts, labour, and materials
• Liaise with customers, insurers, suppliers, and workshop teams to ensure clear understanding of repair scopes and pricing
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer repair methods and industry standards
• Monitor job progress and update clients and insurers as required
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest levels of professionalism
• Maintain records of estimates, approvals, and related documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in a busy Bodyshop environment (minimum 3–5 years)
• In-depth knowledge of automotive body repair processes, paintwork, and vehicle wrapping
• Experience working with high-value / premium vehicles advantageous
• Ability to accurately assess damage and produce comprehensive estimates
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Computer literacy and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
