The PLC Specialist will be responsible for performing electrical and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on industrial robots and automated production systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment meets operational quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

• Conduct fault finding repairs and maintenance on robotic systems and automation equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per schedules and job cards.
• Provide accurate repair data and compile detailed feedback on maintenance activities.
• Adhere strictly to company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Participate in departmental problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work practices comply with SHEQ standards and company policies.

• Advanced knowledge of PLC programming – Siemens, ABB, KUKA KRC4, TIA Portal, Integra Wave 4, Siemens S5 & S7.
• Strong background in automation robotics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and quality systems.
• Excellent fault‑finding, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.

• T3 / S4 Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• 5 years experience in Automation and Instrumentation.
• 23 years experience as an Electrical Technician in an automation or robotics environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Festo and ABB Stamp Master systems.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts.
