Position: Packaging Designer (Permanent)

This newly created role is an important step in expanding the design and product development team, supporting the company’s exciting move into new pharmaceutical global markets.

This hands-on, creative position is perfect for someone who enjoys solving design challenges, pushing innovation forward, and seeing ideas evolve from concept to production. You'll collaborate across departments and gain access to a dedicated training budget, making this a fantastic opportunity to build your skills while making a lasting impact.

This permanent position is ideally suited to professionals with experience or a strong interest in product or packaging design, who are confident using Solid Works within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and prototype innovative pharmaceutical packaging using Solid Works
Collaborate with NPD and cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life
Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer design standards
Enhance product performance, manufacturability, and sustainability
Support business growth through creative and continuous design innovation
Ideal Candidate:

Proficient in Solid Works with a strong portfolio of design projects
Will also consider entry level and graduate candidates with a good theoretical knowledge of Solid Works, who are interested in developing a career within manufacturing
Experience in design, packaging, or product development (pharma experience welcome but not essential)
Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
A proactive communicator and collaborative team player
Detail-focused, organised, and passionate about developing your design career

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Dedicated training and development budget
