Health & Safety Advisor

Position: Health & Safety Advisor (Contract)
Abatec is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their client, a tier 1 contractor on a freelance basis working on a major project based in Suffolk.

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will:

* Support and provide information to the site ensuring compliance with all requirements in the construction plans.

* Support investigations of incidents including close calls and near misses on site.

* Identifying training needs

* Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures, and associated documentation and check Compliance.

Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:

* Sound Knowledge of civil engineering/construction methods

* Relevant qualifications in health and safety or previous experience in a similar role

* Problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

* Experience working on large civil engineering/construction sites.

Salary/Benefits:

* £450 - £550 PAYE Umbrella
