Health & Safety Advisor

Abatec is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their client, a tier 1 contractor on a freelance basis working on a major project based in Suffolk.

• Support and provide information to the site ensuring compliance with all requirements in the construction plans.
• Support investigations of incidents including close calls and near misses on site.
• Identifying training needs.
• Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures, and associated documentation and check compliance.

• Sound Knowledge of civil engineering/construction methods.
• Relevant qualifications in health and safety or previous experience in a similar role.
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Experience working on large civil engineering/construction sites.

• £450 - £550 PAYE Umbrella.
