Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Overtime Available)
Pay Rate: 13.98 per hour
Job Type: Temporary ongoing role (minimum 3 months) with potential to become permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse in Rendlesham. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations, ensuring that goods are stored, handled, and dispatched safely and efficiently. This role involves some physical work, so you must be able to read and write English and be physically capable of manual handling tasks.

This is a temporary role for at least 3 months, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. Applicants must be available to commit to the full 3-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle and move components, assemblies, and finished units
Pick parts and kits for assembly or dispatch
Pack and prepare equipment and components for shipping
Receive and check incoming stock and materials
Assist with stock control, organisation, and rotation
Support warehouse and production teams with materials as required
Carry out basic visual quality checks on stock and packaging
Load and unload vehicles safely
Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
Work accurately and reliably due to the nature of the products handled

Skills & Experience:

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Hardworking with a positive attitude and strong team-working skills
Willingness to learn new skills and processes
Previous warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to meet productivity and quality standards
Good organisational and time-management skills
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties
Awareness of warehouse health & safety practices
