Store Manager - 40 Hour Permanent Contract

We are seeking a Store Manager to lead the Seasalt store in Aldeburgh. You will be responsible for all aspects of running the store, developing your team, driving sales and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Coaching and developing your team to drive performance through formative feedback, 121s and development plans
- Creating a service culture within the store team that puts the customer at the heart of everything they do
- Motivating the store team to recommend additional services to drive sales (omni-channel selling, gathering customer data, and recommending add-on purchases)
- Taking ownership of sales, profitability and KPI results, and understanding what is required to drive performance in the store
- Communicating store performance to the team and key stakeholders, providing regular feedback and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Implementing store visual merchandising, window standards and guidelines; using product, categories and bestseller information to maximise commercial opportunities
- Utilising product information to maximise sales opportunities and maintaining thorough product knowledge of Seasalt products
- Managing store operations including stock management, loss prevention, escalation and incident reporting, health and safety, GDPR, cash handling, key holder responsibilities and store safety standards
- Effectively recruiting a diverse and passionate team who deliver excellent results
- Being responsible for the store and ensuring all physical assets are maintained and losses minimised
- Identifying potential performance issues within the team and addressing them formally or informally
Leading your team from the front by driving sales, maximising profitability, and achieving KPI results. You will be responsible for taking ownership of all aspects of running a successful Seasalt store. Customer satisfaction is essential, and you will create a positive culture through training and developing your team. You should have previous experience in leading a team, preferably in a retail or equivalent environment where you drove KPI achievement and managed budgets.
You should be approachable, solution-focused and positive, empowering your team daily. You will be passionate about sharing commercial knowledge and ensuring your teams have strong product knowledge and enthusiasm for Seasalt products.
