- Position: Finance Manager
- Salary: up to £50k
- Location: Polegate
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

My client has a vacancy for a Finance Manager to join its thriving business to take a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of its business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead a team of five across finance and debt management, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and forward-looking financial insight to support strategic decision-making. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role following the departure of their long-standing Finance Manager.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Financial Control & Month-End
- Regulatory & Compliance functions
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Cashflow & Operational Finance
- Management Information & Bonus Calculations
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team of five
The skills and experience you’ll have include:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with FCA regulations (highly desirable)
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills
- Experience producing management accounts, forecasts, and board-level reporting
- Strong leadership abilities with team management experience
- AAT Level 4 qualified, with progression towards CIMA or ACCA desirable
- High integrity, attention to detail, and proactive approach
