Head of Construction & Building at Contract ScotlandA cost consultancy based in South Lanarkshire, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in project delivery, taking responsibility for cost management, client communication, and commercial control across multiple projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of pre‑ and post‑contract quantity surveying.
- Prepare cost estimates, tender documentation, and bills of quantities.
- Administer and advise on contracts, including NEC and JCT forms.
- Contribute to project reviews and help shape innovative cost solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
About You
- Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within a cost consultancy or contractor environment.
- Strong working knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT, etc.).
- Confident analyser with strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and QS software such as CostX (or similar).
- Motivated, self‑driven, and keen to contribute to a culture of continual improvement.
