Residential Sales Account Manager
CCL Components is one of the leading wholesalers in the Renewable and Power Solutions market. The Residential Sales Account Manager role involves building relationships with the UK’s leading installation companies, understanding and discussing their requirements, and supplying solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Full account management of new and existing accounts with a focus on B2B outbound calls, including cold calling to generate targeted sales and expand the company market share.
- Deal with customers worldwide and coordinate with international offices.
- Grow and develop the customer base to extract the most value possible.
- Manage key accounts while developing relationships and profitability.
- Prospect new markets and new customers to generate new orders and develop annual growth targets.
- Work directly with customers to identify Power Solutions that suit their specific needs and project requirements.
- Actively promote company products and win new business with significant annual volume of sales.
- Develop long‑term relationships with existing and new customers/key accounts, providing necessary information to support their solutions and ensure satisfaction.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, collaborating with internal departments, developing solutions, and making recommendations.
- Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
- Supply the Manager with periodical reports on activities, including customer needs, problems, competition activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep up‑to‑date on product applications, technical services, market conditions and competitive activities.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Strong aptitude for sales and a professional telephone manner.
- Background in electronics or a related qualification is an advantage.
- Hunger to succeed and grow within an expanding business.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to understand and use Microsoft Office products and a company CRM system.
- Must have an EU Passport or full permission to remain in the UK (e.g., a full UK Visa); visa sponsorship is not available.
