Cleaner Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner to join our facilities management team based at a large NHS site in Eastleigh. Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations, including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

The role will involve working in the laundry department as well as deep cleaning industrial equipment, floors and work areas, and handling specialised cleaning tasks. The position is part-time (7 pm to 7 pm, Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week).

• Clean tasks include damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming and touchpoint cleaning.
• Clean offices and clinical rooms.
• Clean toilet facilities and hand basins; replenish toilet paper, hand soap and towels.
• Waste management – collection, transportation and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
• Work in the onsite laundry department to provide an adequate and constant supply of workwear for all users, including sorting, washing, extracting, drying, ironing and folding.
• Work as part of a team and use own initiative.

• Good knowledge and experience of cleaning services and equipment, with a strong attention to detail.
• Prefer knowledge of COSHH, chemicals and risk assessments.
• Experience with buffer machine / scrubber dryer is an advantage.
• Experience working BUGTo schedules.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
