Transactional Team Leader - Newport - 10 month temporary assignment

Are you ready to step into a leadership role within a dynamic finance team? A leading manufacturing company based in Newport is seeking a Transactional Team Lead to support their finance operations during a key period of transformation.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with experience in transactional processes to take on a leadership role. You'll work closely with the Transactional Team Lead to oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash management functions - ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the board.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day management of the transactional finance team

Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations

Assist with month-end close and reporting activities

Drive process improvements and support system upgrades

Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in transactional finance management (AP/AR)

Strong understanding of financial systems and processes

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
