We have exciting opportunities for permanent social workers who are passionate about empowering citizens to reach their full potential in our integrated neighbourhood teams, safeguarding adults, mental health team, transitions and review team.

Guidance, support, and supervision will be provided in accordance with the individual’s experience and capabilities and in line with our Supervision Policy.

• Must hold a qualification in Social Work, and have at least 2 years experience working as a QSW.
• Good demonstrable understanding of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience (BSc/MA in Social Work, Dip SW/HE or CQSW).
• Knowledge of social work models and interventions, including strengths-based practice models (Desirable).
• Knowledge and understanding of discriminated groups and the ability to ensure that services are appropriately delivered to meet their needs (Desirable).

• Social Work England registration
• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
• A full UK driving licence
• DBS clearance
• Authority to work in the UK
