Graduate Customer Support Accountant at Free Agent

Support team – Edinburgh, Scotland

£26,000 – £30,000 per year

We are looking for accounting/bookkeeping professionals with a passion for fintech to join our Support team. You will receive structured training, work within a diverse and high‑performing team, and help delight Free Agent customers.

• Be the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and chat, responding accurately and promptly
• Provide training to customers through outbound calls for free trials and paying subscribers
• Proactively contact users to see if they need help
• Assist product teams by testing new features or upgrades to existing functionality

• Accounting degree or completed accountancy‑related studies
• Thorough knowledge of UK accounting processes, ideally supported by practical experience
• Highly computer‑literate and tech‑savvy, with a strong understanding of online engagement
• Clear understanding of the issues facing small businesses and keen interest in how financial software can help
• Awareness of bookkeeping and accounting software packages available to small business owners, with some experience using one or more
• Enjoy providing first‑rate customer service and previous experience in a similar role
