Location: City of Edinburgh

Overview

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a Finance Administrator to support Edinburgh Sport and the wider University. The role is part‑time (21 hours per week) for a fixed term of 2 years, at Grade UE04 with a salary range of £26,093 to £28,778 per annum pro rata.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day transactional support, raising purchase orders, issuing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with budget holders and committees across Edinburgh Sport and the wider University to manage resource allocation and uphold high operational standards.
Qualifications
  • Experience in financial administration, transactional processing, or a similar role.
  • Confident working with financial systems and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn University finance procedures and systems.
